Great Review from a New Friend!
My Great Grandfather Josiah Frank Cutchin from Nansemond County, Virginia joined the 16th Virginia Infantry, Company A on April 17, 1961 and surrendered at Appomattox County Courthouse in April of 1865. He was from an old Virginia family and fought to protect his home, family and Country. My Grandmother often told me that he saw Virginia as his Country and that he never felt other than his land had been invaded by the North.
Your book brought many of those feelings to the fore through the dialog of the soldiers and those on the home front. I now look forward to reading ISAAC'S HOUSE.
